Maggiano's is a bit formal, but my kids – 13 and 10 – really love going there. Go hungry.

I'm glad to see the list isn't just the big chains (though we do have a few of those, but they have merit). So often these lists just reflect quantity of locations, not quality of food/value/atmosphere. I love the choice of Watson's Drug Store and Maggiano's and I am always up for Claim Jumper. I didn't realize Bobby McGee's was still around - that takes me back! I'll have to make a trip to take a walk down memory lane.

Very informative directory. I like how the children's menu prices are listed! Pictures would be a great addition to help us get a feel for each one. I think the Old Spaghetti Factory is a great pick for being family-friendly. Reading this list is making me hungry!
